Generous Eureka High Families Donate Canned Food

Sponsored by Eureka High School Student Council members, this annual food drive benefits area food banks.

Eureka High School’s students, staff, parents and community members donated  more than 34,000 items during the 2012 canned food drive.

Students worked together to sort the canned goods and other items on Friday, Nov. 9, according to a Rockwood School District spokesperson.

As Thanksgiving Day approaches, what other food drives have you contributed to this year? Which food banks still need items?
