Dear LaSalle Springs Midle School Parents,

This morning, shortly after 10:00 a.m., a small fire occurred in one of our kitchen ovens. The fire was quickly extinguished with a fire extinguisher, and the fire department was called.  Metro West responded immediately and advised us to evacuate the building as a precautionary measure.  After checking the building, we received an all clear from the fire department. Classes resumed, and lunch was served on schedule.

I am very proud of the way our students conducted themselves during this event. They followed the procedures we have in place to ensure the safety of everyone.
