In addition to Walk and Bike to School Day, students are offered other opportunities for fitness. For example,  teacher Taryn Litton and counselor Alice Patton organize monthly bike rides with up to 25 students along the Meramec River Trail in Wildwood.

“Bike Club is a great way for us to interact with students outside of the classroom, while also sharing our passion for riding,” said Litton. “Not only are we able to build positive relationships with students, but we are all making strides to be healthy.”
