Each year, fourth-grade students at Fairway Elementary share in the love of history by participating in a history reenactment.  In preparation for the activity, students researched a historical character and worked closely with their teachers to ensure their characters appeared authentic.

On April 23, students dressed as characters including Molly Brown, Mark Twain, Stan Musial and Harry Truman, among others, and shared information about their lives.  Dressed as Mark Twain, Claire Donn shared information about his life. "Did you know that Mark Twain loved to read; just like me," said Donn. "It inspires me to keep learning."
