Severe Weather Spotter / Safety Classes

Learn to be a severe weather spotter!  Learn how to identify cloud formations than can lead to tornadoes and other severe weather.  Learn severe weather safety.  Help protect others in the community.  This is information that could save your life!

Through audio-visual presentations, learn how to be a severe weather spotter from Michael Redman, who provided these classes for St. Louis County and other agencies since 1970, instructing over 14,000 individuals in over 400 classes.  Basic principles are provided in the Level 1 class from 9AM-12Noon.  The optional Level 2 class picks up where level 1 leaves off, and begins at 1PM.

Registration is required- contact Capt. Jason Darian at the number provided.  Suitable for ages 13 through adult.  Certification and a compact disk of weather materials is provided.  The Level 1 class offers an attendance prize.
