Blevins Bobcat Students Pink Out

This is the third year for Blevins to host a Pink Out Event and it is the first time for the bracelet fundraiser.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, fifth-grade students at Blevins Elementary School in Eureka are selling handmade bracelets to students and staff.

With a minimum donation of 25 cents per bracelet, 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to Susan G. Komen, said school officials.

Students hope to raise more than $155 from this event, according to a district spokesperson.
