Eureka Wildcats Boys Lacrosse WIN on Senior Night!

Eureka Boys Lacrosse celebrated Senior Night on May 1 with victories against Kirkwood. The JV team started the evening with a 15-2 win at our home field at LaSalle Springs Middle School.  

The Varsity Wildcats came out strong and fast in their game also, defeating Kirkwood 17-4. The deep offense had a good showing, posting goals by 6 different players. Senior Michael McLaughlin and Junior Jake Hardin led the scoring with five goals each. Additional goals were scored by Junior Jake Martin, Sophomore Sean Conway, Senior Ben Eder, and Senior Ben Baker.

May 1 was also the annual Senior Night for the Eureka Lacrosse Club. There are 8 Seniors on the 2013 Varsity Team. The Seniors are: Ben Baker (13), Ben Eder (5), Andrew Hosna (8), Michael McLaughlin (12), Mark Nosiglia (9), Adam Saunders (24), Blake Scoville (2), and Drew Shryock (21).  These boys were all a part of the starting line-up for the game and led the team to victory.   

After the game, the Seniors were honored with a dinner and and a presentation that recognized each player and their parents. The coaches shared each player’s future plans, as well as their individual nickname on the team! Lacrosse at the college level is a part of the plans for most of our Seniors.  We wish All The Best to our Seniors!
