City, school, and fire district positions are up for grabs in today's election.
A city mayor, city council member spots, aldermanic positions, county assessor, school board positions, and fire board candidates are all on the local election ballot today.
Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
For Eureka mayor incumbent is being challenged by . Eureka-Wildwood Patch published information about , and both hosted with residents. Both candidates this weekend distributed their last bit of campaign materials directly to voter's doors, which addressed very personal and hard-hitting issues.

- LeiLanai Archambault or Wes Sir for Ward 1
- Marilyn Leistner, who is running unopposed, for Ward 2.
- Shannon Britt, who is running unopposed for Ward 3.
For the first time, St. Louis County voters will be asked to elect a county assessor. The candidates are and . Each candidate promised at a that they would get property assessments right the first time.
For Wildwood city council members, the following candidates ask for your vote.
- David Hamrick, Ward 1, running unopposed.
- Ed Marshall, Ward 2, running unopposed.
- Harry Lemay or Marc Perez (please note that Perez will still appear on the ballot although he withdrew from the race due to health and personal matters) for Ward 3.
- Katherine Dodwell, Ward 4, running unopposed.
- Please note that no candidates filed for the Ward 5 open position, so this council member will be appointed by Mayor Tim Woerther and approved by council members post-election.
- Ron James, Ward 6, running unopposed.
- John McCulloch,Ward 7, running unopposed.
- Two council positions from among five candidates will be filled for Ward 8:
