Special Use Permits Granted in Eureka

Quite a variety of special use permits for local businesses were approved at Tuesday evening's Eureka board of aldermen meeting. They included:

1. at 12 Hilltop Village Center Dr. as a fast food restaurant with a drive-through.
2. at 5699 Fox Creek Rd. as a fast food restaurant with a drive-through.
3. Country Doggie Spa & Grooming, a pet grooming shop, at 113 Hilltop Village Center Dr.
4. Cingular Wireless, Inc., for an existing radio, television and communications transmission tower, including the installation of additional equipment at the base, located at 22 Hilltop Village Center Dr. (America’s Best Value Inn).
5. for an apartment on property located at 1329 West Fifth St. to be used primarily for commercial purposes.
6. as a fast food restaurant with a drive-through at 1509 West Fifth St. (Eureka Towne Center).
7. America’s Best Value Inn for operation of a hotel and retail sales of alcoholic beverages at 15 Hilltop Village Center Dr.
8. for a lumberyard with outdoor display and sale of fencing, swing sets and sheds at 1027 West Fifth St.
9. Monro Muffler Brake, Inc., d/b/a as a tire and auto service center at 85 Hilltop Village Center Dr.
10. Ralph O'Toole for parking of trucks that haul demolition material and waste equipment at 73 Williams Rd.
11. for an automotive repair shop with the inclusion of mechanical repairs and tire installation at 1023 West Fifth St.
12. Mary Roy for a summer day camp at 18539 Fox Creek Forest Drive.
13. for display, sales and service of emergency vehicles at 1299 West Fifth St.
14. for a fast food restaurant with drive-through component at 400 Meramec Blvd. (The Shoppes at Hilltop).
15. for inclusion of all classes of alcoholic beverages by the drink and package sale of wine in addition to the erection of a deck at 107 South Central Ave.
