Re-Elected Wildwood Mayor Sworn In

At Monday's city council meeting, Mayor Tim Woerther received a "key" surprise. He's the first Wildwood mayor with two terms.

Mayor Tim Woerther is the first mayor to be re-elected into two terms in the city's 16-plus years of history. He was sworn in at Monday night's city council meeting by city clerk Lynne Green-Beldner.

Woerther thanked all present Monday evening for exercising their right to vote. "We live by the mission and vision of Wildwood that you see on the back wall," he said. "I hope you will continue coming to meetings like this, and that you will voice yourself anytime thoughts move you.

"It's participation and involvement such as yours that allows us to be able to do the work we do here."
