New Pot Hole Repair Program Coming

Missouri Department of Transportation teams launches "enhanced pothole patrol" this week that promises 24-hour service on weekdays. Where are the worst pot holes near Eureka and Wildwood—let's get them on MoDOT's list.

Missouri Department of Transportation officials will kick off an enhanced pothole repair initiative this Friday. Maintenance crews will commit to repairing a pothole with asphalt within 24 hours of it being reported on weekdays.

MoDOT District Engineer Ed Hassinger indicated their goal is to aggressively tackle potholes to keep highways smooth and safe for St. Louis motorists.

Officials will outline the new program in a media conference Friday. Crews will aim to tackle potholes early and get the asphalt mix filled in the hole while it is still small, benefiting both the department and motorists, stated Kara Price, MoDOT senior community relations specialist.
