Missouri Route 100 Ditches in Wildwood Attacked by MoDOT Crew

Look Out: This week, motorists moving through Wildwood on Missouri Route 100 are likely to see some huge yellow trucks and other equipment at work alongside this busy thoroughfare.

St. Louis' only track hole dozer owned by the state's transportation entity is in Wildwood this week.

Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) crews are reshaping ditch washouts alongside Missouri Route 100 between the Metro West Fire Protection District station No. 5 at 18601 Starck Lane and Bebe's Valley Lane in Wildwood.

MoDOT employee Jim Peake said Tuesday the crews relish the time they can get the sole track hole for the region scheduled for specific projects, because it can get into off-road terrains.
