Keypad Votes to be Used at Input Session for Wildwood New Community Park Wednesday

Want to get in on shaping what Wildwood's newest park would look like and what features will be the priorities? Second public engagement meeting is being held tonight.

Join 99 other Wildwood residents this evening to vote on priority uses of the city's 66-acre parcel of ground for use as a community-sized park. The meeting will be held at from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Keypad tabulation devices will be used to enable attendees to participate fully. Results are anonymous and can be viewed immediately.

Joe Vujnich, Wildwood director of planning and parks, said they expect attendance to top 100, because 99 were preregistered for the meeting.

The park property is located near the intersection of State Routes 109 and 100.

Vujnich said the property is large enough to accommodate a number of facilities and activities that residents have identified over the years as priorities for future development.

City officials want to hear ideas and suggestions from current residents regarding facilities and use possibilities before any decisions are made.
