To avoid delays, motorists should alter travel times by leaving earlier or plan ahead for ways to avoid this work zone near Eureka on Interstate 44.

Missouri Department of Transportation crews will close the right lane on eastbound Interstate 44 one mile east of Antire Road near starting at 9 a.m., Thursday, July 5. This lane closure will extend to Williams Creek and remain in place until 10 p.m., Friday, July 6.

Two eastbound I-44 lanes in this section will remain open during this timeframe. This lane closure will be located east of the existing left lane closure that is from Lewis Road to Antire Road, which remains in place until mid-September.

Two right lanes on eastbound I-44 from one mile east of Antire Road to Williams Creek will be closed from 10 p.m., Friday, July 6 until 9 a.m., Saturday, July 7. Only one eastbound lane in this section will remain open during this timeframe.
