Businesses Gain Special Use Permits

Special business permissions were awarded to 10 businesses at Tuesday's Eureka board of aldermen meeting.

Eureka board of aldermen approved the following special use permits at Tuesday's meeting:

  • GMAM, LLC for indoor batting cages at 530 Workman Rd.
  • Arby's restaurant with drive-through component at 60 Hilltop Village Center Dr.
  • Valvoline Instant Oil Change with motor vehicle maintenance services at 12 Hilltop Village Center Dr.
  • Victory Auto Repair & Detailing, L.L.C.'s display lot for the retail sale of used motor vehicles, including activities incidental to this use, repair shop and U-Haul business at 1023 West Fifth St.
  • Omnipoint Communications & Voicestream Wireless for a radio, television and communications transmission tower at 115 East Fifth St.
  • Wholesale Plumbing Supply, Inc. for outdoor storage and display of plastic pipe at 720 West Fourth St.
  • Byerly Trailer & Manufacturing for recreational vehicles with an expanded display lot and parking area at 295 East Fifth St.
  • First Community Credit Union including an ATM with a drive-through lane, Eureka Towne Center parking lot at 157 Eureka Towne Center Dr.
  • Horizon Motors including automobile repair services and display lot for the retail sale of used motor vehicles including activities incidental to this use at 212 South Virginia Ave.
  • Burger King restaurant with a drive-through component at 235 West Fifth St.

Special use permits for existing businesses, such as the ones listed, are reviewed on an annual basis.
