Wildwood Driver Run Off Road

A Wildwood woman's car was totaled after an unknown driver prompted her to lose control Tuesday morning.

Julianna Eshraghi, a 48-year-old motorist from Wildwood, was driving her 2004 Kia Amanti westbound on Interstate 64 in St. Charles County at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday. She told Missouri State Highway Patrol officers an unidentified driver and vehicle changed lanes, causing her to swerve to avoid it.

The accident occurred about 0.3 mile east of Missouri Research Park.

Eshraghi lost control, traveled off the roadway and struck the center median.

She was wearing a safety belt. She was taken to Mercy Medical Center by a St. Charles Ambulance crew for what was deemed minor injuries. But her car was totaled and towed from the accident scene.

No other drivers or vehicles were involved.
