Two-Vehicle Accident Occurs At Highway 100; Injured Transported to Hospital

Drivers of two vehicles involved in a collision that occurred at 4:15 p.m. Thursday at Highway 100 and St. Albans Road in Wildwood were transported by ambulance to St. John's Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur.  Neither driver was a Wildwood resident.

St. Louis County-Wildwood Precinct officers and Metro West Fire Protection District firefighters were dispatched to the scene. 

Officer Mark Kolinkski said a female driver of a red Dodge Durango was heading southbound on Highway 100 when the female driver of a Toyota Islander pulled in front of her at the intersection of Route T and Highway 100.

"It's unknown if the driver of the Islander was going to turn left or go straight," said Kolinski.

Both drivers were adults, and were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
