Two-Vehicle Accident Occurs at Six Flags Intersection

A two-vehicle accident occurred in Eureka at the intersection of Fox Creek Road/Fifth Street and Six Flags Road at approximately 2:15 p.m. this afternoon.

officers and firefighters responded to the scene of an accident that occurred at approximately 2:15 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Fox Creek Road/Fifth Street and Six Flags Road. There was a steady stream of rain at the time.

The driver of a White Pontiac Impala, a female, was left stranded in this intersection until police and firefighters plus a tow truck driver came.

The second motorist was driving a black Lincoln Navigator with an Arizona license plate.

The driver of the Impala got out of her car on her accord and into the Eureka Fire District's ambulance. Her car was damaged down the driver's side, including the back tire and well.

Emergency response team members cleared the intersection in a matter of about 15 minutes. Never was the intersection completely shut down.

Identities and health conditions of the drivers were not released at the scene of the accident.
