Police Beat: Vehicle Accidents Only Highlight

Following is a roundup of local accidents reported in Eureka and Wildwood from Jan. 31 through Feb. 6; no crimes were reported during this period.

officials said there were few police incidents because winter storms continue to confine most people indoors. They reported only two accidents:

Jan. 31:  A two-car accident occurred in the parking lot; there were no injuries.

Feb. 4:  A two-car accident at the intersection of Interstate 44 and Highway 109 happened at 6 p.m.; there were no injuries.

officers reported an equally quiet period with no crimes.  Two vehicular incidents were:

Feb. 5:  A two-car accident off Highway 109 occurred at 10:12 a.m., but no injuries resulted.

Feb. 7:  Another two-car accident at West Glen Farms subdivision and Highway 100 happened at 3:23 a.m.; there were no injuries.
