Pacific Man Charged With Providing Cold Tablets to Make Meth

A Pacific man was charged with possessing pseudoephedrine with the intent to sell it to methamphetamine cooks.
Jarrod Erb, 28, of the 400 block of South 5th Street in Pacific, was charged Thursday with possessing pseudoephedrine with intent to sell to manufacture a controlled substance.
St. Louis County Police said Erb was a passenger in a vehicle pulled over Jan. 29 on Interstate 44 at Six Flags Road in Eureka because the driver had an active arrest warrant.
During a vehicle search, officers said they found two boxes of cold tablets that contained pseudoephedrine. According to a police report, Erb told the officer he and another person bought the tablets to sell to a meth cook for $50.
Bail was set at $5,000 for Erb on Thursday, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
