Online Ticket Sales Fraud Case Among Police Log Incidents

POLICE LOG Nov. 5-9: A rash of many more accidents occurred recently in Wildwood—most involving some offshoot of busy thoroughfare Missouri Route 109. Two accidents at the very same location even occurred on the same day.

Following are recent incidences handled by St. Louis County Police Department-Wildwood (6th) Precinct officers:

Nov. 5: 

  • A person was arrested on the suspicion of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and drug possession on Missouri Route 100 at Westglen Farms.
  • An accident with no injury occurred on Alt at Maryridge.
  • An accident with no injury occurred on Missouri Route 109 at Hidden Valley Forest.
  • An accident with no injury happened on Missouri Route 109 at Acacia.
  • An accident with no injury occurred on Missouri Route 109 at Rockwood Forest Valley.
  • An accident with no injury happened on Missouri Route 109 at Chestnut Bluff.
  • An accident with no injury occurred on Missouri Route 109 at Rockwood Forest Valley.
  • A second accident happened at the same location on Missouri Route 109 at Rockwood Forest Valley.
  • An accident with no injury happened on Manchester at Taylor.
  • An accident with no injury occurred on Wild Horse Creek.

  • An accident with no injury happened on Strecker at Shepard.
  • An open door on Lakefield Place was investigated by police.
  • A disturbance on Missouri Route 109 resulted in one of the people involved getting arrested.
  • An accident with a minor injury occurred on St. Paul Road.
  • An animal running loose was handled on Allenton Road.

Nov. 7:

  • An accident with no injury happened at Missouri Routes 109 and 100.
  • A person was arrested on the suspicion of DWI at Missouri Routes 109 and 100.
  • An accident with an injury occurred on Missouri Route 109 at Manchester.

  • An accident with no injury happened on Missouri Route 100 and Mueller involving a deer.
  • An accident with no injury happened on Missouri Route 109 at Rockwood Forest Valley.
  • An accident with no injury occurred on Missouri Route 109 at Whitsetts Fork.
  • An accident with no injury occurred on Missouri Route 109 at Manchester.
  • Officers took a report of fraud involving tickets for sale on a website. The tickets were for a Tennesee and Alabama college football game. Authorities said the victim took a photo of the tickets and put them on a website, which in turn enabled someone to steal the scan bar code. 
  • An accident with no injury happened on Babler Park and May Apple Trail involving a deer.
  • Police are investigating a bad check written to a restaurant on New College Avenue.

Nov. 9:

  • An accident with injury occurred on Missouri Route 100 at Booness.
  • A driver left the scene of an accident on the parking lot at 17050 Clayton Road, which is Lafayette High School.
