St. Louis County Police said an officer saw Garozzo driving halfway on the shoulder of the road at 11:57 p.m. March 23 at Manchester Road near Ellisville Towne Centre Drive. He then swerved over, almost striking another car, the officer said.

The officer pulled Garozzo’s car over and noticed a strong smell of alcohol. He said Garozzo had bloodshot and watery eyes. The officer said Garozzo did poorly on a sobriety test and refused to perform some of the actions in the test.
