Local Teenage Passenger Taken to Hospital Post-Accident

A House Springs teenager was riding in a car that struck a rock bluff Sunday.

Kordell Geiler, a 14-year-old from House Springs, was a passenger on Sunday at 3:25 p.m. in a 1993 Honda Accord being driven by 20-year-old Kellie Davidson, a Hazelwood resident.

Davidson was westbound on Route 30 and lost control of the Accord, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report. The car left the roadway and struck a stop sign and a rock bluff at Scenic View Lane.

Davidson was wearing a seat belt, per the report. Both Geiler and Davidson were taken to St. Anthony's Medical Center by a Big River Ambulance crew.

Her car sustained extensive damage, and was towed from the accident scene in Jefferson County.
