Labadie Driver, Passenger Hit Head-On by Fenton Driver

When a driver from Fenton changed lanes to pass an unknown driver in Jefferson County Monday afternoon, he caused a head-on collision with a motorist from Labadie and her passenger.

After Fenton resident Shaun Frost, 32, attempted to pass another vehicle while heading southbound on Route NN at Moon Dance Lane in Jefferson County at 1:30 p.m. Monday, he collided head-on with a driver from Labadie who was heading northbound.

Labadie resident Leslie Giles, 53, was driving her 2003 Ford Explorer, with Lynn Garner, 51, a passenger and also a Labadie resident. Frost was driving a 2002 Saturn SL1.

Frost was not wearing his safety belt, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol report. Giles and Garner were wearing their belts.

All three people involved with the accident received minor injuries, and were taken to St. Anthony's Medical Center by a Big River Ambulance crew.

The Saturn was totaled. The Explorer was towed from the accident scene by Hyndrichs Brothers Towing.
