House Springs Man Accused of Hiding Camera in Women's Public Restroom

An area man was charged by Jefferson County Sheriff's Office for invasion of privacy. Anyone who used the identified public restroom on Sunday between noon and 1:30 p.m. is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at (636) 797-5515.

Six miles from is a Price Chopper grocery store in House Springs whereat a man was charged with invasion of privacy for allegedly hiding a camera in the women's restroom there on Sunday.

Frank Fuchs, 51, of the 6600 block of Bandstand Lane in Cedar Hill, was identified as the person who placed a video recording device in the ceiling of the female restroom at the grocery store located at 4600 Gravois Road.

Jefferson County Sheriff Oliver "Glenn" Boyer said deputies responded to a call from Price Chopper at approximately 2 p.m. Sunday after a store employee found the recording device.

Oddly enough, Fuchs was identified from photos obtained from the recording device.

Fuchs was charged by the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney's Office with invasion of privacy of multiple individuals and set with a $50,000 cash bond. He is incarcerated in the Jefferson County Jail.

Officials believe he may have made other recordings throughout Jefferson County, so an investigation was launched.
