Harley Davidson Riders Take Curve Too Fast

Cpl. E. R. Kessler, of the Missouri Highway Patrol Troop C, issued the following report regarding a motorcycle accident that occurred Sunday in Franklin County. Residents from Pacific and Fenton were on the cycle.

James Smith, a 50-year-old motorcycle rider from Fenton, was headed eastbound on Missouri Route B west of Bias Road at 2:40 p.m. in Franklin County on Sunday when he was speeding too quickly to make a curve in the road. The 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle involved left the road and overturned, throwing off the passenger Donna Woolery, 51, a Pacific resident.

Woolery received moderate injuries, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol Report, and was taken to St. John's Hospital in Washington by a New Haven Ambulance crew.

The motorcycle was driven from the accident scene.
