Eureka Woman Escapes Scary Car Crash With Minor Injuries

A woman from Eureka had only bumps and bruises to show for a car accident that had her car flipping over and hitting the median wall. The crash also yielded a serious injury for a man from Leslie.

A 33-year-old woman from Eureka sustained minor injuries in a car accident that otherwise was pretty gruesome.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Charmain Wilder was a passneger in a car traveling eastbound in Interstate 44 Wednesday night when the car she was driving in rear-ended another car. The impact of that collision was enough to force Wilder's car to cross all lanes of traffic on I-44, overturn and strike the median guard rail.

The driver in the car Wilder was driving in escaped without injury.
