Eureka Teen Injured in Three-Car Crash

A Eureka teen was injured after a car she was a passenger in crashed Saturday in Jackson County, Mo. 

Taylor M. Black, 19, was transported by Sni Valley Fire and Rescue to Center Point following the crash. The Missouri State Highway Patrol classified her injuries as moderate. 

According to the Highway Patrol Crash report, Andrew W. Muelleman, 19, of Independence was in the left of westbound Interstate 70 just before noon. The crash report said Muelleman's car overtook and struck the vehicle of Michael J. Hulgin, 50, of Cleves, Ohio. 

After that impact, Muelleman's car was then hit by Sara A. Bonner, 24, of Columbia. 

Muelleman and his passenger, Black, were both taken to Center Point. Muelleman was listed has having minor injuries. 

Bonner was treated at the scene and released with no injuries. Michael Hulgin and his passengers, 48-year-old Julie Hulgin and 22-year-old Maria Huglin, were all listed as having minor injuries but refused treatment at the scene. 

All involved in the crash were wearing safety devices.
