Two Eureka residents were injured in a car accident Monday at 7:05 a.m.
Milton Barratta, 27, was driving northbound on Route PP, just south of Old Little Antire in Jefferson County, at a high rate or speed when he lost control of the car and drove off the road before overturning the car, stated a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.
Barratta and his passenger, Barbara Parker, 48, sustained minor injuries in the accident. Both were taken to St. Anthony's Hospital by a Jefferson County ambulance crew.
Barratta was not wearing a safety belt, however Parker was, according to authorities.
Barratta's 1995 Mitsubishi Gallant sustained extensive damage, the highway patrol reported.
