16-Year-Old Motorcyclists Hit Head-On

Two young motorcycle riders were taken by ambulance when they collided with each other Sunday afternoon near Eureka.

Two motorcycle riders were seriously injured when they struck each other head-on on a private trail near at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Michael Boher, 16 years old, was heading westbound on a 2003 Kawasaki motorcycle on a private trail at 3900 Little Tavern Road, according to a Missouri Highway Patrol report.

Jack McQuerry, 16 years old, was heading eastbound on the same road while riding a 2004 Yamaha motorcycle.

Both riders were wearing safety devices. Both are Pacific residents.

They were taken to Mercy Hospital by Meramec Ambulance crews.
