Free "Autumn Spectacular" presentation at Eureka Library, 7PM-8PM Tuesday Oct 8, 2013
Join us and Master Gardener and Naturalist, Carol Gravens, from the Missouri Botanical Garden Speakers Bureau, as we take an exciting photo journey to witness the spectacular changes of autumn.
Many people believe autumn is the most beautiful season of the year. This program documents the dramatic spectacle that plants undergo in their transition from summer green to the brilliant yellows, oranges, purples and reds of fall. During the presentation, we will look at trees, shrubs, vines, grasses, flowers and fruits of the fall season, while learning how and why these changes occur.
Come and enjoy this colorful visit to spectacular natural areas, local neighborhoods, parks and gardens!
