Memorial for Robert Parks

Visitation for this Wildwood resident will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bopp Chapel in Kirkwood. He was the spouse of Wildwood city council member Holly Parks and a U.S. Army veteran.

Robert Parks died Sept. 18. He was a Wildwood resident and spouse of city council member, Holly Parks (nee Fuller). He served in the U.S. Army in Alaska during the Korean conflict.

He was the father of Greg (Siliva) Parks, Scott Parks and Scott (Clare) Metcalf. He also was the grandfather of Sophie, Alex, Grace, Peyton, Will and Ty.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd., in Kirkwood.

Interment will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks, leaving from Bopp Chapel at 9:30 a.m.

A memorial service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 110 N. Warson Rd. in St. Louis.

Memorial contributions may be made to Siteman Cancer Center.

He is the last of a six-siblings generation.
