Memorial for Robert Heitkamp Sr.

Visitation will be Monday morning at St. Alban Roe Catholic Church in Wildwood, followed by a funeral Mass 2 hours later.

Robert "Bob" Heitkamp Sr., died Tuesday, at the age of 80, after having Alzheimer's.

He was the husband of 59 years to Nancy (nee Duisen). He was the father of Mike (Kathy), Joan (Joe) Grass, Bill (Anne), Ken (Mary) and Tom (Mary Barbara Fitzgerald); grandfather of John, Charles, Caroline, Brittany, Courtney, Kelsey and Logan Heitkamp, Laurie (Frank) Huskey, Erin (Chris) Brooks, Anne, D.J. and Kevin Grass. He was great-grandfather of Rhianna, Dylan, Frankie, Ashton, Jack and Ella. He was the son of the late Lawrence and Loretta (Mooney).

He was a brick mason, and in 1964, founded Robert M. Heitkamp Bricklaying Co. It now operates as Heitkamp Masonry.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Alban Roe Catholic Church in Wildwood. A funeral Mass then will be celebrated at noon at the church. Interment will be in the National Cemetery.
