Memorial for Ollie Lerch

Visitation for this Eureka resident will be Monday evening at Schrader Funeral Home in Ballwin.

Oliver "Ollie" Lerch died Thursday, at the age of 79. He was a Eureka resident.

He was the husband for 52 years of Elaine Lerch (nee Keller). He was the father of Patricia (Doug) Brown, Paul (Christina) Lerch and Susan (Dan) Muehlemann. He was the grandfather of Michael, Ashley, Tyler, Nicole and Zach, as well as brother of Helen Hutchingson, Elizabeth Kennedy, August Lerch, Carole Smith, Frances Guzman, Joseph Lerch, Louise Manion and the late Mary Shea.


He was a member of Most Sacred Heart Church of Eureka for 20 years, a fourth degree Knight and co-founder of Capuchin Missionary Club of Eureka.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road in Ballwin. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Most Sacred Heart Church, 350 East 4th Street, Eureka. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Autism Speaks or Most Sacred Heart Church of Eureka.

Friends may sign the family’s online guestbook.

Ours is named, "Turpeester"... I'm sure whatever he is doing he is having a fun time, out running around... I will pray for Leo making it back to you!!! Good luck!
