Memorial for Mark Giulvezan

Visitation will be on Tuesday, beginning at 10 a.m. until the funeral service at noon, at Living Word United Methodist Church in Wildwood.

Mark Scott Giulvezan, of Saint Albans, died on May 25, 2011, at the age of 60 after a heroic fight with cancer.

He was husband to Nancy Giulvezan (Wiesehan); son of Nicholas and the late Lois Giulvezan; father to Stacia Giulvezan, Matthew (Sinta) Giulvezan and Jenny (Kevin) Giulvezan Glynn; and grandfather to Luke, Shane, Betty Jean and Charlie. He also was brother to Michael Giulvezan and Michele Giulvezan-Tanner.

He received a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla. His professional life included nearly 30 years as co-owner of Niehaus Construction Services, being co-founder of the annual Ronald McDonald Golf Tournament to benefit children and being an active member of The Associated General Contractors of America.

He also was a proud Christian and celebrated with God daily. Mark enjoyed countless hours of golf and a good hand of gin rummy with his buddies.

A celebration of Mark's life will be held at in Wildwood on Tuesday, May 31, at noon. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to BJC Hospice, 8300 Eager Rd., Suite 500A, St. Louis, MO  63144.

Visitation will be hosted on Tuesday, beginning at 10 a.m. until the noon service, which is being handled by the Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory.
