Memorial for Loren "Doc'' Hewitt
A memorial visitation for this U.S. Marine and Pacific, MO, resident will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Feb. 18 at the Schrader Family Center in Ballwin.
Loren "Doc" Hewitt died Feb. 8 at age 90. He was a Pacific, MO, resident.
He was the husband of Dorothy Hewitt (nee Jarvis). He was the father of Patricia (James) Hoisington, and Gwendolyn Sage, as well as the grandfather of Eric Brooks, Stephanie Brooks, Adam Sage, James Hoisington and the late Gerald L. Sage Jr. He also was great-grandfather of three grandsons, and the brother of Kathryn Davis.
He was proud to be a U.S. Marine in World War II, a captain in the University City Fire Department, and a bailiff in the Clayton Court House.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Feb. 18 at the Schrader Family Center, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway in Ballwin. Interment will be private.
