Memorial for LaVerne Travers
Visitation for this Eureka resident is Friday, and a funeral service follows Saturday morning.
LaVerne Travers died Tuesday, at age 94. She was a Eureka resident.
She was the wife of the late William George Travers, and mother of Richard (Phyllis) Travers, Claire Levvintre, Mary Ann (Dave) Rohan, Larry (and the late Terry) Travers, John (Lesley) Travers, William (Theresa) Travers, Christine (Tom) Bender, and Vincent Travers. She also was grandmother of 21 and great grandmother of 25.
She was an accomplished seamstress and machine-knitter.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday at Schrader Funeral Home, 108 North Central Ave. in Eureka.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
