Joseph A. Vila Jr. died Thursday. This Wildwood resident was 55 years old.
He was the husband of Renee Vila (nee Kohlberg); father of Kathryn (Bo Carman) Kohlberg, Christopher (Andrea) Kohlberg, the late James M. Kohlberg; grandpa of Daniel and Matthew Carman and Christopher Kohlberg; son of Joseph and the late Elizabeth Vila; son-in-law of Joseph and Dolores Kohlberg; and brother of Martha Chernus and the late Suzanne Berry.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway in Ballwin. At 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, a funeral procession will travel from Schrader to St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Ellisville to celebrate a 10 a.m. Mass.
Interment is in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Schrader Funeral Home for the funeral.
