Memorial for Gloria O'Brien

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Alban Roe Catholic Church in Wildwood, with the funeral Mass following at 11 a.m.

Gloria "Glo" O'Brien (nee Vie), died March 21. She was a resident.

She was the wife of the late James D. O'Brien; mother of Leslie (Joe) Turner, Kevin (Jane), and Tim (Jennifer); grandmother of Aimee (Jason) Kem, Jimmy Turner, Kelly (Chad) Houck, Alex and Keegan O'Brien; great-grandmother of Logan, Zacary, and Brady Kem, and Carson, Presley, and Tatum Houck.


She was an avid golfer and card player. She was a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals for years, and enjoyed their run to "11 in 11".

She also was an active participant in the John Turner Memorial Walk benefiting Huntington's Disease research. She participated in the eight annual events leading up to this year's event, which will be held April 28 in Tilles Park.

Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at , 2001 Shepard Rd. in Wildwood, with the Funeral Mass following at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Huntington's Disease Society, 3286 Ivanhoe Ave., St. Louis, MO  63139.

Hi! I sure hope he gets found quickly... we have a tortoise exactly like this.. but much smaller,Read More who is approximately a year old... they can be very fast... so sorry he got away from you! Ours is named, "Turpeester"... I'm sure whatever he is doing he is having a fun time, out running around... I will pray for Leo making it back to you!!! Good luck!
