In this digital age of evolving technologies the amount of gadgets can add up quickly, and disposing of unwanted electronics can be expensive and harmful to the environment. To help solve the problem of unused, or no longer needed electronics, MERS/Goodwill and the city of Wildwood are coming together to host the 3rd Annual Electronic Recycling Event.

Participants will receive a tax receipt for their donation on the spot, and MERS/Goodwill providing a pick-up service for large items that cannot be brought to the donation site.  It is a one-stop-drop, and prior sorting of donated items is not necessary.

The group will be collecting the following electronic devices to recycle:
•       Computers and Computer Accessories
•       Networking and Telecommunication Equipment i.e. Home or Cell Phones
•       Clocks
•       TVs, VCRs, DVD Players, and Cable and Satellite Boxes

•       Home Electronics and Appliances
•       Any Item with a Gasoline Engine, Motor or Battery
