Make a difference in the lives of children

Volunteers are needed to help children with special needs receive therapeutic benefits from horseback riding lessons.  No experience is necessary.  We provide all training.  In class you will work directly with the child, helping them with fun activities like throwing a ball through the hoop, puzzles and scavenger hunts.  Over time, you'll witness wonderful changes not only in the child but in yourself as well!

If you love horses, volunteering for a year allows you to apply for our horse leadership program in which you will be assigned a horse to train with and care for outside and during class times.

Continuing education classes are also offered throughout the year, making your experience as a volunteer as enlightening and uplifting as we possibly can.

Volunteers must fill out an application, pass a background check from the DFS and watch a 24 minute video prior to helping in classes.  Classes begin April 9 and run for 7 weeks.
