Annual Blues Blood Drive

The St. Louis Blues and the American Red Cross are joining forces for the annual Blues blood drive on Monday, Jan. 17. The drive will be held from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the following locations:

  • The Pointe at Ballwin Commons
  • YMCA in O’Fallon, MO
  • Meramec Arnold Elks Club in Imperial
  •  Hilton Hotel O’Fallon, IL
  • Julia’s Banquet Center in East Alton

The Red Cross teams hope to collect 410 units of blood at the five locations.

Everyone who attempts to donate will receive a specially designed Blues and Red Cross T-shirt, and be entered into a drawing for other Blues prizes, including game tickets and memorabilia.

Blues players are scheduled to visit some locations to meet and thank donors.

“We are very proud to partner with the St. Louis Blues for this event,” American Red Cross Missouri-Illinois Blood Services Region CEO Scott Caswell said. “They are having an impressive season on the ice, but even more important is their impact on our community and the people in our region that need assistance.”
