Some Thoughts You Should Know

Some thoughts I have about the future that no one else wants to express.

On election day in November 2010, when I spent 8 hours in chemotherapy after I became diagnosed with a life-threatening case of lymphoma, which led to a period of Home Health Care, I received an education in the methods and costs of modern medicine.

I recorded it all in the writing of a well-published blog and in doing so I became aware of the methods and costs I mentioned. I have experienced and lived through what all of you who read this will be subjected to as we all have the death experience before us.

I saw modern medicine make an ATM (automatic teller machine) out of my body in that anytime they needed more income, they do not need a weapon to acquire it, just a computer and a paper form and an action to hit another income source.

I won't go into details of the home health care as it is described as the least expensive of modern choices, but Medicare was billed at a rate of $6,600 per month and paid about $4,400 per month for my care.

But at least I was given a modest amount of care by a visiting nurse and others whose deal was to minimize any pain I might develop.

Others were not so fortunate. I read charges that a Texas Doctor developed 11,000 patients who agreed to signing with him for the same service, which in most cases he did not perform, but over a period of five years gathered $375,000,000 for his effort. He was charged, but no one has heard of it since.  The within the last month another group of doctors gained over $426,000,000 in the same manner. Again no action.

Now Baby Boomers are retiring at the rate of 10,000 per day, so double that for couples and medicare will provide an unending supply of similar business in the coming years.

That was why I filed for Congress under the conditions I run with no solicitation of campaign money, which in the amounts it is raised, anyone who does that and wins has been bought and paid for.

So now a new threat to our country has reached a crisis. Thirty nine years ago, when the pound sterling was replaced as the world currency with the U.S. Dollar. we also became the world policeman leading to the great debts of over $16 trillion in actual debt plus another $145 trillion of unfunded liabilities which now has caused the great trading nations to by pass the American Dollar trade agreement and I predict that it might result in the Dollar being removed from its position as the world trading fund and it appears that China will use its money to replace as they are in the position with others to call the shots.

So, because of no one in the media or the political field making this the main issue for November, I am convinced that I have to speak out.  Few citizens can imagine what more that $160 trillion of Debt and unfunded liabilities. A total which will increase rapidly as we decline even more in the next 10 years, no matter who is elected.

I feel justified in my quest to be heard.

When in the U.S. for every dollar we use, we borrow or have borrowed .50, that will soon come to a halt as our assets will not pay it back.

Somehow my credit rating was listed as 821 the last time I looked during the 2010 race. It will show that my habits won't accept the flawed use of our nation's assets to go to complete ruin if we continue on kicking the can down the road as we have done the past decade. That will be the  message I bring to voters. I hope it will be rewarded.

I have recorded hundreds of blogs for the Eureka-Wildwood Patch, and many people agree with my thoughts on a wide variety issues. Wednesday I read that a St. Louis area idol threw in the sponge because of debt and low income, and closed her five stores. That is a sign of the weakness we all now face.

Good luck, Becky Rothman.  It has been fun watching you over the years.
