Content of Radio Broadcast Scheduled for May 17 (Part 3 of 3)

Some more preview of my May 17 radio message.

Editor's Note:  George Weber is scheduled to be a guest on 1220 AM KLPW Radio All Talk in Washington, MO, on May 17 from 9:15 a.m. to 10 a m. during the Diane Jones Morning Show.

Willie Sutton was a gentlemanly sort, but around the turn of the century he decided to rob banks, because that was where the money was, in his words. However I think we have a new group like him as they have made an ATM as Medicare has become the new target.

Home Health, or hospice, is the device as there seems to be no effort other than getting users qualified and then doing the bookkeeping when I see my own treatment account and read of other suppliers being busted in Texas after lifting $375,000,000. Just last night I heard of another 100 doctors being charged with over $400,000,000 gained in much the same manner.

The user has no income from the use of his or her body to get these huge sums of money, so today I have decided to get off the program for which I am qualified. No one in government right now has voiced an opinion, but I will be around, if elected, with my own fund of knowledge that no one in society seems to believe when I tell the facts.

It can be only worse as I hear 10,000 boomers are retiring each day, so multiply that by two as most are still married, and there will be an unlimited group of prospects in the near future.

We have no hope by either political party of having a balanced budget within 10 years and look what is soon to be.

  • The Postal Service was established in 1775. We have had 237 years to get it right, and it is broke.
  • Social Security started in 1935.  We had 77 years to get it right, and it will soon be broke.
  • Fannie Mae began in 1938, and we had 74 years to get it right and it is broke.
  • Freddie Mac started in 1970, and with 42 years to get it right, it is broke.
  • Medicare and Medicaid began in 1965, and with 47 years to get it right, they will soon be broke.
  • The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil and with maybe 20,000 employees and a huge budget and we import more oil than ever before.
  • We are told our schools are getting worse every year and areas, such as , lost the vote for a $43,000,000 bond issue this year, so taxpayers are getting cold to making more property taxes on themselves, so a large problem is looming there also.

As I look at other candidates in their great fundraising efforts, it would seem they are all owned by someone.

That is why I do not accept funds from anyone so I can be free to determine needs on merits, rather than finances for doing so. I just returned from my local American Legion meeting where for more than 65 years we have recited our Preamble to the Legion Constitution, which I use in my life.  It is For God and Country, we associate ourselves together for the following purposes:

  • To uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America.
  • To maintain Law and Order.
  • To foster and perpetuate a one hndred percent Americanism.
  • To preserve the memories and incidents of our associations in the Great Wars.
  • To combat the autocracy of both the classes and teh masses.
  • To promote Peace and Goodwill on earth.
  • To safeguard and transmit to posterity the principles of Justice, Freedom, and Democracy.
  • To consecrate and sanctify our comradeship by our devotion to mutual helpfulness.

Thanks for listening and I leave the verdict up to you.  Good luck.
