Circle Of Concern joins with The Magic House to celebrate
birthdays. On Saturday, October 6 from
9:30 am to 5:30 pm., The Magic House celebrates its 33rd
birthday by collecting new toys at the
museum appropriate for children ages 1-11 and birthday supplies such as cake
mix, wrapping paper, icing, candles, party decorations and party favors. Birthday
party items will be donated to Circle Of Concern so that kids in need can
celebrate their birthdays too. All
items should be new, unused and unwrapped.

All birthday items will be donated to Circle Of Concern, a
not-for-profit organization that serves needy families in western St. Louis
County. Through their Birthday Club, Circle Of Concern helps kids in need have
a happy birthday by making sure they receive a gift and a birthday bag on their
birthday.

Over the past year Circle Of Concern has provided birthday
supplies and gifts to more than 650 of our client’s children. One in six
Missouri residents currently receive food stamps and two in every five Missouri
children qualify for free or reduced price lunches.  70
percent of children in families living in poverty have at least one parent who
is employed full-time, year-round or at least one parent who is employed either
part-year or part-time. For Circle Of Concern clients, there is seldom
enough money for birthday celebrations.

Circle Of Concern feeds the hungry
and provides long-term and emergency assistance to low-income families living
in western St. Louis County. We create opportunities for needy families to
re-establish themselves as productive members in our community.

The owner, of course, should do whatever he/she wishes to do on his own property. I'm simply curiousRead More about Wildwood's Planning and Public Work's "guess." How does farming a piece of property instead of allowing it to sit vacant actually decrease its tax assessments? It doesn't change the zoning. What is the zoning of the property? If residential, how much corn do I need to plant on my extra property to decrease my property assessment?
