Autumn Spectacular

Tuesday, 8 October 2013, from 7PM to 8PM at the Eureka Library.

A free, public presentation sponsored by The Good Earth Garden Club of Eureka  (phone: 636-938-7401, email: GoodEarthGdnClub-Eureka@yahoo.com).

Join us and Master Gardener and Naturalist, Carol Gravens, from the Missouri Botanical Garden Speakers Bureau, as we take an exciting photo journey to witness the spectacular changes of autumn.

Many people believe autumn is the most beautiful season of the year. This program documents the dramatic spectacle that plants undergo in their transition from summer green to the brilliant yellows, oranges, purples and reds of fall. During the program, we will look at trees, shrubs, vines, grasses, flowers and fruits of the fall season, while learning how and why these changes occur.

Come and enjoy this colorful visit to spectacular natural areas, local neighborhoods, parks and gardens!
