3rd Annual Transportation Expo

LifePointe Church will host its third annual Transportation Expo on Saturday, Sept. 7,
from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the church, 1400 Babler Park Dr. in Wildwood. Proceeds
from the Transportation Expo will benefit Circle of Concern, an organization
providing hunger relief and emergency assistance to West St. Louis County
residents in need. The event will feature the contemporary Christian band, “No Longer Quiet.”

Area car enthusiasts are invited to
showcase their classic or unique vehicles. Exhibits will be divided into 15
categories based on model year or type of vehicle. Entry fees per participant
are $15 for the first vehicle, $10 for a second vehicle and additional vehicles
are free to enter. Winners in each class will receive engraved plaques.

Transportation Expo attendees can show off their racing skills with HO-scale vehicles on a custom-created 20.5 foot long
“Cyclone Canyon” two-lane race course. Participants are invited to bring
their own HO-scale vehicles to race or choose one of several available from the church.

At noon, the Model T Club of Greater
St. Louis will present a demonstration of their Rapid Assembly Car. The team
will fully assemble and drive a 1926 Roadster within 15 minutes.


Food and beverages will be for sale throughout the event.
Donations of canned goods will be accepted and given to Circle of Concern.
