Teen Violinists Advance in Talent Competition

Wildwoodians Caroline Cordell and Elizabeth Cordell could win scholarships and other prizes at the St. Louis Teen Talent Showcase.

Two teens advanced to the semifinal round of the St. Louis Teen Talent Competition.

Caroline Cordell and Elizabeth Cordell, both violinists who are homeschooled, that included singers, dancers, rappers and jugglers. 

The Cordells' performances earned them each spots in the 32 acts tapped to advance to the semifinal rounds on March 31.

The final 12 will perform at The Fabulous Fox Theater on April 27. Winners at the competition will earn thousands of dollars in scholarships, and universities and organizations, such as , are also offering scholarships and prizes.

The Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation created this competition to showcase the St. Louis region’s most talented teens in the performing arts.  Student acts include singers, dancers, actors, musicians, comedians and circus arts performers.

Last year finalists showcased their talents at The Muny, , the Shakespeare Festival, Webster’s Art & Air Show and Dancing in the Street & First Night St. Louis in Grand Center.
