Local Graduates in Active Military

In a hall of honor for veterans in Eureka, Most Sacred Heart School also highlighted the school's graduates currently serving in active duty.

A display at Most Sacred Heart School in Eureka made sure local active-duty citizens who were former Sacred Heart graduates were included this week. The following six military representatives were honored:

  1. 1st. Lt. Andres Hendel, 2001:  Air Force Combat Rescue Office; assigned to 38th Rescue Squadron at Moody Air Force, Georgia.
  2. 2Lt. Alex Hendel, 2003:  Army Infantry Rifle Platoon Leader assigned to 3rd Battalion; 7th Infantry Regiment of 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team; 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia.
  3. CDT Darrow, 2006:  Truman University ROTC.
  4. Spc. Brockmeyer, 2006:  Attending the University of Central Missouri, U.S. Army National Guard.
  5. PFC Skaggs, 2007:  National Guard.
  6. Pv. Kasey Manley, 2009:  Army National Guard
