I-44 Lanes to Close Wednesday Night for Repairs

Use eastbound Interstate 44? Here's a heads up about a closure coming.

Two lanes on eastbound Interstate 44 will be closed at 7 p.m. Wednesday by Missouri Department of Transportation and its contractor, Pace Construction, for pavement repairs, weather permitting.

Crews will close lanes between Shrewsbury and Southwest Avenues for the work, according to a MoDOT news release. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. Thursday.

This work is part of several nights of pavement repairs on I-44 between Murdock and Interstate 55. Crews are expecting to work nightly until Saturday, Oct. 8, and then resume the night of Friday, Oct. 14.
